Touch and hold an empty spot on the Home Screen until the icons jiggle, tap the plus button in the corner, search for Calendar Widgets Suite, then choose a widget and a size and tap Add Widget.

Touch and hold the widget until the icons jiggle, then drag the handle at its lower-right corner until it is the size you want and tap Done. Your settings carry over. Only the sizes that widget supports are offered, so if the one you are after does not appear, remove the widget and add that size from the widget gallery instead.

It pins one widget to the month, week or period beside the current one, so a stack can show more than just today. Add two Month widgets, leave one as it is and set the other to Next Month, then put them in the same stack: flicking the stack now gets you this month and next without opening the Calendar app. Touch and hold a widget and choose Edit Widget to find the setting — it is called Displayed Month, Displayed Week, Displayed Weeks or Displayed Period depending on which widget you are editing, and each one offers Previous, Default and Next.

The choice is relative rather than a fixed date, so a Next Month widget still shows next month after the calendar rolls over. One thing worth knowing: a widget set to anything other than Default loses its arrow buttons, because its page is already decided.

Give each one a Widget ID. Touch and hold the widget, choose Edit Widget, and type whatever you like in that field — a single letter is enough. It is only a label; it never appears on the widget itself.

Without an ID, widgets of the same type share one position, so paging one of them with the arrows moves the others too. Once a widget has its own ID it keeps its own position, and you can leave it parked on a different week or month for as long as you want.

Yes — that is what Settings Templates are for. They are in the Month and Week Timeline editors. Style the editor the way you want it, scroll down to Settings Templates, tap Save Current Settings as Template and give it a name. Then touch and hold the widget you want to change, choose Edit Widget, and pick your template in the Settings Template row.

Neither saving a template nor using one changes your app-wide settings. Each saved template has a menu with Load into Editor, Update with Current Settings, Rename and Delete, so you can keep several looks around and move a widget between them.

Two things to check. First, calendar permission: open Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars and make sure Calendar Widgets Suite is allowed. Second, calendar selection: open Calendar Widgets Suite, tap Select Calendars, and confirm the calendar you expect is selected. If nothing is selected, all calendars are shown.

iOS controls when Home Screen widgets redraw and budgets those refreshes, so a change can take a few minutes — occasionally longer — to appear. Merely opening Calendar Widgets Suite does not hurry that along, but saving does: open the widget’s editor, change any setting, and tap Save. Every widget is asked to redraw immediately. If one still looks stuck, remove it and add it again, or restart the iPhone.

Each widget editor has a Reset to defaults option that restores that widget type’s original look without touching your other widgets.
