Calendar Widgets Suite is a Home Screen widget app for iPhone. This policy explains, in plain terms, what it does with your information. The short version: your calendar and your reminders never leave your device.

What Calendar Widgets Suite accesses

With your permission, Calendar Widgets Suite reads events from the calendars on your iPhone through Apple’s EventKit framework. It reads event titles, dates and times, locations, and calendar colors purely so it can draw them in a widget. It does not create, modify, or delete your events.

The widgets can also show your iOS Reminders alongside your events. That is off until you switch it on, and iOS asks for Reminders permission the first time you do. Once it is on, the app reads each reminder’s title, its due date, which list it belongs to, that list’s color, and whether it has been completed — again only to draw them. It does not create, edit, complete, or delete your reminders. The widgets are a display, not a to-do list you can tick items off in.

Both prompts ask for full access, because EventKit has no read-only level for either events or reminders. Calendar Widgets Suite never uses the writing half of what it is granted.

If you never grant calendar access, the widgets simply render empty. If you never grant Reminders access, they draw your events and no reminders.

What leaves your device

Neither does. Calendar Widgets Suite contains no networking code of its own: it does not upload your events or your reminders, does not use analytics or crash-reporting services, does not embed advertising, and does not create an account or profile for you. There is no server of ours behind this app.

There is exactly one exception, and it is Apple’s. The optional purchase described below is handled by Apple’s StoreKit framework, which communicates with the App Store on your device’s behalf. That exchange is between you and Apple, and is covered by Apple’s privacy policy rather than this one.

Purchases

Calendar Widgets Suite offers a single optional one-time purchase that unlocks the premium options — the extra skins, blur and color choices, and showing your reminders in the widgets. It is a one-off unlock, not a subscription: nothing recurs and nothing is billed again.

Apple processes the purchase end to end. Payment details never pass through this app — we never see your card, your Apple Account, or your name. The app only asks StoreKit whether that purchase is currently owned on your device, and the answer is checked on the device itself; no receipt is uploaded anywhere.

Apple makes anonymised, aggregated sales figures available to us in App Store Connect. They are not linked to you and cannot be used to identify you.

What is stored, and where

Your widget settings — skins, colors, font sizes, which calendars to show, whether reminders are shown and which reminder lists they come from, and so on — are stored locally in a private app group container that is shared only between Calendar Widgets Suite and its own widget extension. The single yes/no flag recording whether the purchase is unlocked is kept in the same place, so the widgets know which styling to draw. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Calendar and Reminders permission

iOS asks for calendar permission the first time it is needed, and for Reminders permission the first time you turn reminders on. You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars and Settings → Privacy & Security → Reminders. Revoking either stops Calendar Widgets Suite from reading that data immediately; the app keeps working, and the widgets render without it.

Children

Calendar Widgets Suite is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Since it collects nothing at all, there is nothing to delete on request.

Changes to this policy

If Calendar Widgets Suite ever gains a feature that changes how data is handled, this page is updated before that feature ships, and the effective date above changes with it.
